Inaya Lakhani, BSc.Kin, (she/her)

My love for movement started the moment I walked into a dance studio as a kid. Dance was never just an activity for me — it was my grounding, my escape, and the place that taught me how powerful the body really is. Through some really tough times, moving my body helped me heal, reset, and feel like myself again. That’s where my belief began: movement isn’t just physical — it supports our emotional and mental wellbeing, too.

That belief is what led me into kinesiology. I always loved learning about the body, especially through the lens of sports medicine, so pursuing kinesiology felt like a natural fit. Throughout school and early in my career, I worked with chronic pain clients and professional athletes — and I truly loved both. Helping people get stronger, move better, and rebuild trust in their body lit something up in me.

I love getting to know the person in front of me. Your goals, your lifestyle, your values, your story… those matter. My favourite moments are when someone shifts from “I hope I can do this” to “I know I can.” That confidence — that reclaiming of strength — is why I show up every day.

Over time, my interest began to deepen for women's health. The way a woman’s body evolves through pregnancy, postpartum, hormonal changes, and different phases of life is nothing short of incredible. Supporting women through those transitions really changes your perspective on life.  I’m truly grateful to the Warrior team for encouraging me, teaching me, and helping me step into this field with curiosity and passion. Their mentorship has shaped so much of who I am as a clinician today.

Outside the clinic, you’ll almost always find me moving — dancing, teaching Zumba, or trying new activities. I also love spending time with my family and volunteering in my community.

I feel incredibly grateful to do this work. Every person I meet reminds me that movement isn’t just physical — it shapes our confidence, our identity, and how we show up in life. Wherever you are in your journey, I’m here to support you, celebrate your wins, and help you reconnect with your strength — one step and one milestone at a time.
